Team Mojo Foundation - MVP

This is the inaugural year of the Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame MVP Award, designed to recognize a person or organization for outstanding volunteer work to benefit the local community. The first recipient is Team Mojo Foundation -- a tax-exempt, non-profit organization -- was founded by Bill Crawford, who serves as executive director. The organization’s mission is “to create opportunities for young people in need by way of support, guidance and financial assistance.” It is funded by donations from individuals, businesses, organizations, grants from philanthropic foundations, and its own fundraising efforts.

Since 2010, Team Mojo Foundation has helped thousands local young people, providing financial assistance for events, activities and other needs. The types of needs they address is widely varied. Some areas they have helped make a difference include sports, scouting, tutoring, dance lessons, books, uniforms, band camp, fees, field trips, prom, graduation, extracurricular activities, music lessons, clubs, camps and more.
