Marc D. Hoffrichter, D.D.S.

Dr. Marc D. Hoffrichter has served the City of East Liverpool in many capacities, always striving to advance the town and inspiring others to want to do the same.

He was graduated from The Hotchkiss School in 1963, Colgate University in 1967 and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1971. He did his residency in general anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh Dental School.

After serving the community in general dentistry from 1972 to 1988, he became founder and president of MDH Investment Management Inc. in 1983, a position he currently holds.

Hoffrichter spearheaded the downtown renovation for seven years, serving as chairman of Task Force Fawcett. He is a founder and president of the East Liverpool Fawcett Community Foundation.

As a volunteer he served as the Mayor's Special Assistant for Economic Development for eight years.

He is a member and past president of both the East Liverpool Area Chamber of Commerce and the East Liverpool Rotary Club. He is also a past president of the Robert Bycroft School Board and served as chairman of the Salvation Army's $1.6 million capital campaign.

He is president of the Riverview Cemetery Association and a trustee of the Museum of Ceramics Foundation.

He and his wife, Cynthia Dray Hoffrichter, have been married 37 years and have two daughters, Megan Hernandez of St. Charles, Ill., and Andrea Cohn of Cambridge, Mass.
